Variations, that won't get knocked at final accounts

How much unapproved work are you carrying?
Work is verbally confirmed on site. The work starts, the pricing follows weeks later, and by then the evidence has gone.
Six variations sitting unapproved is a real margin risk. The work was instructed verbally but never confirmed in writing only to be negotiated at final accounts.
Work done this period misses the next application, pushing payment back 60–90 days.
See how growing contractors are using Coreloops to track and recover variations.
Draft, sent, approved or rejected
Track each variation through its status with the date it was raised and how long it's been open. Additions, omissions and modifications are handled separately, with cost and sell held against each.
